Week of 2 November! Setting ourselves up for success!

What a great Halloween weekend!  It might have been a bit non-traditional, but I hope everyone got to share in the festivities one way or another.  Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday and wore their costumes for the WOD!  The winner will be announced soon!

There’s a good mix of lifting and conditioning pieces this week.   You won’t want to miss any of it! We have a few real grinder workouts coming up this week.  If you want my advice, I would tell you not to look at the WODs before class.  At least for this week.  Especially on Friday.  Trust me on this one!

Since we are just a few weeks away from the official start of the holiday season, we need to start thinking about finding a good, healthy routine we can stick with.  With the holidays come a lot of temptation, and it’s totally normal and human to indulge!!  We just have to remind ourselves that with that overindulgence we should also still be prioritizing our time in the gym.  So let’s get ahead of this thing, and commit to keeping ourselves healthy over the next few months!!    Maybe shoot for 80% consistency with your diet, and no skipped gym days.  If you need any support, talk to your fellow athletes or hit me up!
